Keiro

Owner/Holistic Psychotherapist

Welcome, Mindful Soul! I’m Keiro, a dedicated Holistic Mental Health Therapist passionate about helping individuals achieve balance and well-being in their lives. I received my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Juvenile Justice and minor in Women and Gender studies in 2019 from North Carolina Central University. In 2021, I furthered my education earning a Master of Social Work. With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, I have been a psychotherapist for almost 3 years. Additionally, I became a certified Holistic Mental Health Therapist through The Holistic Therapist Academy in August 2024.

Mindfully At Peace, PLLC came to me in a dream where God showed me I was destined to create something “great.” In the dream, I saw two nurses who revealed the name “Jeremiah,” which means “appointed by God.” In less than three months, I successfully brought Mindfully At Peace, PLLC to life!

My journey into holistic therapy began with my own spiritual and healing path, where I recognized the importance of M.A.P. (Mind-Body Alignment Practice). This journey led me to specialize in various modalities, including mindfulness, breathwork, yoga, guided meditation, and sound healing, which I combine with evidence-based therapies to foster healing on all levels—mind, body, and spirit. I embrace mindfulness in my life by resetting at the beach, spending time with my family, and being a proud dog mom in my free time!

I believe in the power of a compassionate therapeutic relationship and work collaboratively with my clients to explore and address the underlying issues contributing to their challenges. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or seeking personal growth, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore, heal, and transform. In addition to individual therapy, I offer group workshops aimed at empowering clients to achieve sustainable change and live fulfilling lives.

I look forward to supporting you on your journey to greater well-being. ♡

I want what God wants for you, and not what you believe you want for yourself!

Hi! I’m Lidia, the Administrative Assistant here at Mindfully At Peace. I’m often the first friendly face (or voice!) you’ll connect with when reaching out to our practice. My goal is to make sure every client feels welcomed, supported, and cared for from the very first interaction.

I handle scheduling, client communication, and day-to-day coordination so our therapists can focus fully on what matters most — your healing journey. I take pride in creating a calm, organized environment where things flow smoothly behind the scenes, allowing your experience at Mindfully At Peace to be peaceful and stress-free.

Darnisha

Psychotherapist

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, I am passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges with empathy, presence, and evidence-based care. I naturally gravitate toward approaches like mindfulness and meditation to help clients slow down, reconnect, and gain clarity in their healing journey.

My background includes working as a school social worker, where I supported school-age youth navigating depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, and the everyday pressures of growing up. I also have experience working with college students, providing psychoeducation and motivational interviewing focused on substance use prevention, wellness, and academic success.

At the heart of my work is creating a supportive and grounded space where people feel truly heard. I am committed to helping clients better understand their mental health, explore how it intersects with all dimensions of wellness, and develop the tools they need to thrive—mindfully and with intention.

Daija

Psychotherapist

Hi, I’m Daija — a therapist who believes healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and supported. I strive to create a space where you can show up as your full self, explore what’s been weighing on you, and move toward the version of you that feels most at peace.

My approach is grounded in mindfulness and trauma-informed care. I help clients slow down, reconnect with their emotions, and develop practical tools for balance, clarity, and self-compassion. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-informed techniques and strength-based practices to encourage growth that extends beyond the therapy room.

Before beginning private practice, I worked in community-based and in-home settings, supporting youth, adults, and families through life transitions, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. These experiences taught me the power of empathy, collaboration, and consistency in creating lasting change.

I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and dual bachelor’s degrees in Criminal Justice and Social Work from North Carolina Central University. I’m also certified in Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid and trained in grief support, diversity, and unconscious bias.

At the heart of my work is the belief that everyone has the capacity to heal and grow when met with compassion and understanding. My role is to walk beside you as you rediscover your confidence, your voice, and your peace.

Toyin

Psychotherapist

Hi, I’m Toyin! I’m a compassionate, down-to-earth therapist who is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with honesty, courage, and support. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, and a deep belief that healing becomes possible when you feel safe, seen, and understood.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with children, teens, and adults facing anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, trauma, grief, and life transitions. I’ve facilitated individual therapy, completed Comprehensive Clinical Assessments, supported after-school coping skills programs, and provided grief support to families in hospice settings. I bring a calm, steady presence into the therapy space, and my goal is for clients to feel heard, grounded, and empowered during every session.

I am especially passionate about supporting clients as they heal from trauma, strengthen their coping skills, and reconnect with their sense of purpose and emotional balance. I believe in meeting people where they are and walking alongside them at a pace that feels safe and respectful.

I received my Master of Social Work from Walden University and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Augustine’s University.

At Mindfully At Peace, I am honored to hold space for your growth while encouraging you to tap into your inner strength, resilience, and capacity for transformation.
